What's wrong with it? There were lots of alliances during history. This exact war and battle is a part of history, which made Greek state autonomous. Russia supported Greek freedom movement long before this, most of Greek revolutionars were living in asylum, based or educated in Russia. That's concious Russian strategy.

I see nothing wrong in pragmatical alliances, which have nothing to do with sympathies. On personal level, as I become older I prefer to have emotional attitude towards exact persons, not huge groups of people, I don't have anything against some random Turk, for example.

Russian soldiers have shot dead a Ukrainian musician in his home after he refused to take part in a concert in occupied Kherson, according to the culture ministry in Kyiv.

Conductor Yuriy Kerpatenko declined to take part in a concert “intended by the occupiers to demonstrate the so-called ‘improvement of peaceful life’ in Kherson”, the ministry said in a statement on its Facebook page.

Why should anyone trust this? That's targeted on those like you. You know, it sounds so funny and absurd for a Russian, I mean who cares about some conductor accepting or refusing role. There's much less of such "trust me" statements from Russian side, but I generally pass them because you cannot check if it's true or not.

I just don't beleived they are so much casuality and not on purpose from ukrainians side. They have better intel about the russian force positions to make more efficience shoot.
