Not so long ago, people said what Jean Raspail predicted is science-fiction. The French ethnologist and specialist of Patagonia Jean Raspail wrote, in 1973, the book “Le camp des saints” (The camp of the saints). The book is about one million people taking boats to settle in Europe, there are other millions wanting to come. Until recently, the media dragged his name through the mud, saying he is racist, that he fantasises and launching other anathemas at his face. Now, they are forced to admit that it has happened.
And now, Belgium is becoming a third-world country. In an analogous way to the people who vilified Jean Raspail's prediction, you can't believe what is said about Belgium. But when it will be too obvious for everyone, you will say you always knew it, lol.

Belgium is becoming a third-world country. It goes in that direction. Firstly, ethnically, Belgium is becoming the third-world: Moroccans and other Africans are replacing the natives, bringing to our lands their tribal violence and customs. You can say, for ex., that female sexual mutilation has become a Belgian custom. When you consider the way of life, the insecurity (no go zones, etc.), the violence, it’s always more like it is in the third-world.

That's what you get when drugs should be illegal.
It should be legalized and regulated. Thinking illegality keeps it under control is downward stupid.

What I also notice among Flemish politicians and people. They have this attitude of 'not my problem, this is an Antwerpian problem'. Very naive indeed. I understand the political game, but this will bite us all in the ass eventually. Perhaps in Brussels and Wallonia there are more sensible people, who also will fall victim eventually (and already have fallen victim).
Off-topic: N-VA also played the game of Machiavelli with the disastrous 'nuclear exit', by pushing for its revocation under the Michel I government, preferring gas over nuclear in the knowledge that full renewable is a utopia early 21st century still, so that the Greens are now with their pants down now that Russia is notching down the gas tap.
A smart decision. Otherwise ignorance would still have reigned and N-VA would have been the naive dumbasses. Now everyone sees the Greens exposed as the nutcases they are. It would have been disastrous if they decided to step away from nuclear now. A lot of damage has already been done, however.
Belgium isn't boring at all. And I wonder what will happen in the future.

Belgium is indeed one of the major trafficking hubs in Europe for cocaine (accounted for the highest proportion of cocaine seizures with 45 tonnes in 2019, followed by Spain with 41 tonnes) but it is not one of the main user markets.
