I quite enjoyed Lost on Everest. Mind you, I watched it with my 10-year-old daughter. She was transfixed and I think because of her energy I found myself watching the film with my own child-like innocence and wonder. So, while not without some weaknesses, from two 10-year-olds, this documentary gets an A+

When I was buying physical DVDs, I found it as a part of a 6-disc box set of all of the Herzog/ Kinski films.

Very nice.
