Well, and I live in it. I'd say I'm a little more reliable than you, right?
Obviously there is a big difference between Italians and Tunisians, but to believe that there is more resemblance to Germans than to Tunisians is ridiculous.
Also, you can have traveled Italy as much as you like, if you don't know Tunisians your answer is useless.
Far closer to the Germans?
Get yourself an eye exam, for god's sake, look at the pictures I've posted, they are central Italian near northern Italy.

Most are closer to Germans, especially to non-northern looking Germans who're very common in Austria and south Germany.
On the other hand average MENA person regardless of pigmentation usually still has oriental vibe compared to darker European phenotypes.

I'd be curious to know where your prejudice that Italians have pale faces comes from.
These are central Italians in winter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_sZeN12hGQ
These are German https://ftw.usatoday.com/wp-content/...0&h=600&crop=1
These are Tunisians https://www.thenationalnews.com/resi...ZRCSWRYRHQ.jpg
With what color blindness can you say they are more like Germans?

The Germans are like too homogeneous for another group to look like them, it is more boring, maybe there would be some individual result and the Tunisians are the softest or the most different within the Maghreb.
Central Italy as a group seems very diverse and there is more exoticism or orientalism than I would have imagined.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

I'd be curious to know where your prejudice that most Germans looks like Thor or Alexander Godunov comes from.
North Africans have significant SSA and Semitic admixture which is visible even on those few with light eyes/hair whilst Italians are Mediterranean Europeans and also in case of North Italians heavily tied to Central/Nordic European genetics as well as cultural heritage.
I mean Italy even possesses German speaking region South Tyrol.

Having nothing to do, I RANDOMLY took photos of central Italians, Tunisians and Germans.
Ignore the obvious immigrants on the German photos.
Central Italians
Germans
Tunisia
Now, take a few minutes to look at the photos. It seems very evident that central Italians are more similar to Tunisians than to Germans. So how the heck do you support such bestiality? Germans are very different.

North Italians close to Germans(mostly Swiss), South/Sicilians close to Greeks, Albanians and West Asians, that’s all.
