Yes i'm a native speaker of Catalán

The only interaction i had with portugueses was the last Year when i was in Northern Portugal, a bit harder to understand for me compared with Galego

One of my Great Great Grandfathers and his Brother were polish immigrants that moved to Seville, Estepa for work their background is still very unknown and the reason of why moved to Spain is also unknown i only know that some Central Europeans such as Germans, Frenchs etc... moved to Andalusia for the same reason and because it was needed to repopulate the region. I know another person from Palma whose parents are from Andalusia but have a Polish Great Grandmother. The only issue is that documents says he and his brother were Polish despite that their surname doesn't sound so Polish i hope i can improve the tree in that side of the family.

Another curiosity is that a relative with the surname that did the DNA test got the haplogroup N1.

Very interesting. Well, this ancestors of yours could have had Prussian or Baltic ancestry. Depends on the surname ofc. In Poland lived lots of Germans and other minorities before.

I've been wondering the same my Mother even still have the surname wich is Mätas and sometimes written as Matas
