I just uploaded my 23andMe data to https://cladefinder.yseq.net/ and it gave me R-Z16540 instead of just the parent (that 23andMe gave me), R-Z16539. How reliable is this clade finder?

It’s usually accurate. You can also upload your raw dna in this website to compare results https://ytree.morleydna.com/extractFromAutosomal but the consensus is that cladefinder is more accurate as the one I provided is not updated but does it’s job for comparison

on yfull I see https://www.yfull.com/tree/R-Z16540/ is just one single level below https://www.yfull.com/tree/R-Y12651/ (Z16539), so why doubt it, it only went one step further, it should be accurate. the broader clad also looks like typically West Euro (Anglo-French)
