A made up lie? Right, so the head of the Taliban army isn't a Tajik then? Are we going to ignore that? Bro you are full of shit lol. Get outta here.
There are many Taliban from different ethnic backgrounds, you must be living under a rock if you think it's pashtuns only.

thanks, I value any opinion, I am not interested in consensus, it's good to allow diverse points of view.
also, I meant Iranians in Iran, not Afghans, I suppose the Afghans support the Taliban, they got the Russians and the Americans out of the country (although I'd be curious of a local's perspective as well, of course). but I was more curious how Iranians in Iran see the politics of their neighbours and Persian cousins

Well, theyre iranian citizens who moved into Afghanistan. But as I said, Babak is more suited to answer this than I am. All I know a bunch of local sunnis protests against the government in iran, mainly the balochs. Idk how many of them really are anti-iran government. I especially dont know how many or few even support taliban.

Just so everyone here is aware, the divide and conquer tactics have constantly failed in Iran. We dont divide people based on their ethnicity, religion, or language. Even zoroastrians, who are very conservative, will also marry someone who is not their own.
