1. Georgia is not the whole Caucasus. Far from it.
2. The annual precipitation mm (inches) of my city (Krasnodar) is 735, and it's not so bad at all. We have plenty of sunny days. Maykop has 772. And Tbilisi (Georgia) has far less - 495. Source - Wikipedia.
Do what you should.

After all the voting it is only me and Freeroostah on the steppes. But that is all right. He is an expert in yurt-building, he's done this sort of thing before. We can sleep under clear skies with not another soul in sight for miles and miles. In the summer the yurt will shelter us from the heat, and in winter protect us from the cold. I'm still not sure whether Freeroostah actually wants to live with me, but since it is only the two of us, he's stuck with me. The alternative is that he takes his horse and I take mine, ride in opposite directions and see who we come across (or not).
