Classify and explain atypically dark-skinned Turks

From what I've seen, most Turks look darker than most southern Europeans; however, a select few look particularly dark, even though they don't have visible SSA influence. Is this phenotype/skin-pigmentation native to Anatolia (think back to early Iron Age) or does it have anything to do with Arab migration? I've read that during the Middle Ages, some Christian Bedouins would be settled in Anatolia for helping the Byzantines against the Muslims. Or maybe that's gypsy influence?

Could be an old darker Mediterranean strain linked to the Dravidians, Indian like people have been known to inhabit the entirety of the middle east.

A crowd picture from Istanbul would be much more representative than Antalya, since it’s a city that attracts immigrants from all around Turkey.However, Istanbul has a significant foreign population too.
