Beautiful photos and people! Love the embroideries on their garments and also the brides hairstyles with intricate braids:
Judging by this photo, I believe men were sometimes wearing their hair braided too (at least it looks so). Maybe similar to the Boykos.
Boykos braided the front side strands of hair over their temples, as the Boii-Celts once did

It's always interesting to see photos of Europe in older times. They typically have this both somewhat "close" feeling, as you imagine what would it be if you lived in a given time and place, but also contain information useful when learning about a history of a given region.
BTW. The woman on this photo initially looked like a centaur to me:

Very similar to Carpathian Ukrainians, but more Southern: a mix of Slavic and paleo-Balkan types.
