My controlling mother poisoned my relationship with Stears a great deal. I wouldn't repeat same mistake twice.
I agree with Victor. Except that on family property one child should stay, so it stays in the family for generations to come.

I'm planning to move to central Croatia (not Zagreb) next years. I live here alone, but parents are close and my mother would try to drive Stears away, I know it. She hates him.

In case if her mother behaves so, it's logical to move further from her with husband. If parents attack family for no legit reasons it's better to separate as further from them as possible, living on distance from each other works, they have no control and influence over child and his/her spouse.. Surely in case they need help or some occasions no need to reject this, but I've heard it lots of times from Ortho priests that own family is in priority over first family and we should do everything to preserve it. If parents dislike a spouse it's their problem.

what if your wife asks you to add one or two more ladies into the marriage? Like "Hey I believe in polygyny, and I wouldn't mind".. What would you do in that case?






Now this scenario, I don't mind, it's not her fault that the hubby die, especially so young and unexpectedly. Even the Bible supports adding a widow to your family if you would like so.

My issue is with the ghetto irresponsible baby momma's and the chicks with daddy issues that drop their husbands on the spot once they feel like they want a a "new" adventure being single or with another man.

In that case it would be hard to say no.

I always wished to live in Karlovac. My happiest memories and lots of family are there. It's ideal for family and there I can go back to horse riding like in my childhood. It's one of greenest towns in Croatia on 4 rivers and will be one of most desireable locations in the future.

Zagreb is 40km away and working there is no problem (but I will try to get job at DA in Karlovac as priority), especially when new double track speed train is completed. But already it's fast to get there via railway since it's all flat.

I prefer central European part of Croatia culturally and in every sense. My parents are moving south to Dalmatia as soon as our house is renovated anyway. And you come quicker to Dalmatia via motorway from KA than RI.

It would also feel very familiar to Stears. Btw, I am planning to make a short film there based on a dream I had many years ago. Scanario is written long ago.

I never felt Rijeka as home and always loved Karlovac.




I miss the snow. Except on my island, everything I loved is there.

Good, don't come. This country is rootless I tell you. Which is why I plan on moving to Italy. Goodluck with Stears by the way, you both need happiness and your child needs his father.

She needs to get the fuck of Europe and move to the U. S or some where, from my experience it's not something out of this world for white american men or Latino to date or marry women who already have kids.

I personally feel European men are very shallow and cold blooded personality etc.

My grandpa said that Karlovac is on the nice place. Not hilly, but not total plain and green same as you said.

I see similarities between Karlovac and Sremski Karlovci, not only linguistic. Karlovac is quite bigger of course.

I like living in the US. I feel like everyone saying it's rootless has never spent time in like, the rural South or anywhere but a big city or some methed out town.
