Probably i couldn't react anymore lol it's such a language you never feel satisfied expressing yourself compared to your mother tongue, English words/expressions are never enough

Me personally I would be open to it, I love English language. Although I think it would basically erase history, tradition and tie to certain countries. Some countries are based via language, many people fought for those aspects.

I would not accept that, as vast majority of population.
We need to preserve our language, demographics, genetics and religion in future.

If it was done by referendum, no problem. But we all know this wouldn't be the case.

I'd be sad if Romanian would be replaced with English. Practically, I am able to get around in English but it would not be the same, as I grew up with a different mother tongue and I'm not thinking in English.
English is already taught in kindergartens, schools, also because of the internet exposure. And younger generations are able to understand and speak it well. I worked in a kindergarten where at 5-6 yo children could already speak well in English, they were learning it since they were 2-3 y.o.
It's obviously good to be able to speak different languages
But officially I prefer our own language, with all its dialects and uniqueness, different expressions and so on. And that in some way, it builds the sense of community.
I know that English being official language means, other languages are accepted too, but Romanian as an official language fits our country and identity better.

It sounds like a nightmare.
