I don't find it too surprising, she looks south asian to me. Most koreans have more of a golden brown skin tone (unless they bleach it/use makeup)

Asia is a huge multi-ethnic multi-racial place, Indians are a multi-ethnic multi-racial nation. it's a bit vague when we say a Lebanese is Asian the same as a Korean, a Russian from Vladivostok and an Indonesian from Bali... some conventions are just overly stretched. imo Asia is multiple continents
