They are said to be gypsies, and its about gypsy witchcraft but they speak romanian not gipsy. Im a real romani gypsy myself, but i still love it despite the fakeness. Tommy Shelby is a legend. Cilian Murphy is Irish not Romani, and Romani look more like hindus then Irish, but they are just made gypsies, because i guess its mysterious with witchcraft and such and it makes them more interesting and cool. I do not mind i actually like it.

It's bad Romanian. You spoke it better Mortimer, even without knowing what it means. I don't know why that one commenter insists it is Romani(i.e. Gypsy).
