But the other very American things: powerful US American classic cars (specially from the 60s, 70s and 80s) in the automotive park of Latin American countries, yellow school buses, squarish like license plates, American signaling traffic system (green boards to indicate distances to different towns and cities, green boards with a yellowish/orange bar on the top to indicate exits, etc), are things more spread in most Latin American countries than in most of the rest of the world. And even English classes in schools of Latin American countries use US American English as reference, unlike in Europe, where they use the English from England as reference.
That without mentioning the wide popularity of American rock, pop, movies, tv shows, tv series, etc., although those last things are not only popular in Latin America, but also to a bigger or lesser extent in other world countries. However I also have to add that in Venezuela (not sure about other Latin American countries) American movies when seen in movie theaters (in rented movies in the past) are/were not dubbed in Spanish but seen in their original American English language, but with Spanish subtitles, which makes Latin Americans (as least speaking about Venezuela, not sure if in the rest of Latin America it happens the same) more used to hear the American English than in most other cultures. And many other things like that can be mentioned to demonstrate how more exposed is Latin America to the American culture and American ways compared to most other world countries.
That doesn't mean that Latin America is more western than Europe, but it means that is more Americanized, and if we go by Nuzart's concept of westernization based on being more Americanized, then Latin America would be more western than Europe, and most of the rest of the world if we went by that standard.
