You said "this number scale crap is only a problem for people who live on the internet". Happens that we are discussing on the internet right now. The point was just that he is not attractive enough to overcome his behavior (he would need a 10 at this point). Below 7 was a random number.
Women dislike this benign rating thing and try to shame it because deep down they know their main value is their look and they think it will define their value as a person, more so than even men judge them based on look alone. It's understandable but it has nothing to do with being polite or more "human" to celebrities on a random forum, some even get triggered by the number we give them. Big projections, we don't give ratings in threads that seriously.

Again, projecting - I'm happily married and have never given a shit about my appearance beyond being presentable. In fact, that's the difference I'm talking about, the fact that only insecure and often terminally online people spend this much time thinking about anyone's appearance, be it their own or other people's. I go on here for my entertainment but for others, like Meade, it seems to be a genuine lifeline. And he is obsessed. Obsessed beyond what any healthy human being could possibly be with this concept of handsomeness and whether or not he fits into it.
He was quite attractive as a thin 22 year old. I would probably be interested until he opened his mouth. And even making this about appearance, number scales or politely worded or otherwise, is detracting from the fact that the primary issue is his severe psychological disorder.
Don't take anything on the internet too seriously. Look: 🐓🚗. The chicken is bigger than the car. None of this is real. And people who have arguments on the internet are losers.

In general, when somebody who is not normal repetitively complaints and seeks attention, people flock to their rants and give them meaningless advice because this makes them feel better about themselves.
