while archaic names are on the rise in Romania (and not linked to religious sects).
I've heard these ones in several kids which was strange since they were historically rare and archaic, limited to old rural religious people, if encountered.
Efrem (from Saint Ephrem or Ephraim)
Serafim (means a Seraph angel)
Achim (aˈkiːm - Biblical, related also to Joachim)
Ilie (from Elijah)
and there's more. they sound kinda cool
