I heard Gypsies in Bulgaria dislike Bulgarians on national and religious basis. They are pro-Turkish and probably instrumentalised by Turkish intelligence to make chaos in Bulgaria. I have seen video where bunch of Gypsies in Sofia shout 'death to Bulgarians.' In Serbia, Romania, Hungary etc. Gypsies don't give a fuck for nationalism. They are pests/parasites which don't wont to work in large number but use social help, also they often dirty, and prone to criminal activities (especially thefts) and various subhuman behavior.

Those videos were probably from the ethnic clashes that happened in 2011. Situation has improved since then.

There are three types of Gypsies in Bulgaria, what you described are the Muslim Gypsies most of who claim to be Turks. But even among them hatred to Bulgarians is not publicly displayed usually. The second type of Gypsies are the Protestant Gypsies, who identify as Gypsies and are indifferent to nationalism. The third type are the Orthodox Gypsies, who may identify as Gypsy or as Bulgarian and some of the latter even sometimes are Bulgarian nationalists, mostly as a defence mechanism, they think people won't suspect what their ethnic group is.
