I do not believe that race mixing is something that is necessarily bad, so I cannot rule about the possibility that I date / marry a Gypsy woman, but that is unlikely to happen. I saw some good looking Gypsy women, such Gypsy women definitely exist. But when I looked at the "whole package" (things other than looks), it wasn't to my liking. White women much more frequently have chacacteristics that I deem relationship / marriage material, they got the whole package more often.

I remember once i have been a restaurant, the waiter was a gypsy and my friend ordered food again, because he did not want to eat what a gypsy touched.

Are you joking? Its East Europe, not the woke West. There are segregated schools only for whites, there are clubs, pubs where you cant go if your gypsy. Its pretty normal.

Here you have "locals/slavs only" when people rent flats (it means they would reject uzbeks/tajiks by default), also now they're banned from driving taxis, but before there was a massive occurence, when people would cancel a drive if they get some "Khabibullo Medjidov" as driver and switching until they get Russian/Slavic name. This segregation didn't apply to Tatars and other Russian minorities, I'd even say those minorities did it more massive and consciously against uzbeks/tajiks in own regions.

I have a neighbor now, a road worker from Ufa, Bashkiria, he's renting a flat, but he had an option to move to some type of dorm paid by company, in the end he didn't, I asked him what happened and he was like "no way I live between smelly uzbeks"

I avoid their services, too. Thankfully, in 2023-24 most of regions banned foreigners from majority of jobs, now there's an exodus. But there are already enough of those who got citizenship including illegal way, some of them get their citizenship cancelled, but still lots of them here. I hope all of them are gone in few years.

I wonder what you would have done if Central Asian republics stayed part of Russia somehow, like they were part of USSR and Russian Empire for a long time.

I'm happy they're gone in early 90s. Plus, during Russian Empire and Soviet period they never migrated massively outside their republics.

About 20 years ago my father didn't want to get on the bus because a one Gypsy got in before him. I heard that from my mother. My mother when she was younger had romantized view on Gypsies - she thought they are peaceful people, they are cheerful, talented for music, they lie and steal a little but nothing terrible etc. Relatively recently she admited that was wrong about Gypsies. She said as whole Gypsies are pests which carry bizzare and bad values and view of the world which is totally alien for us. She had romantized view of Gypsies because she grow up in Dalmatia where Gypsies never lived, and she formed initial opinion about them from media and movies where they were presented mostly positively. My mother saw Gypsies first time in the life when arrived to Rijeka with 19. She did not have any contact with them in Rijeka and did not realize their real nature for the long time after that.

Why does Russian state permit their harsh exploitation? I agree with you that you don't need these immigrants, but I am surprised to hear they are so exploited. Are they working illegally, with no contracts? I feel sorry for them, because they are so desperate and live like that, but you are also right that Russia would be better off without them.

That's a practice of 2000s-2010s, there are lobbyists of such things, their home states are very pro such migration because they bring huge money to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan through transfers to their families. Now it changes, lots of healthy processes started here in recent years.

I can't say I'm sorry about them, because their mentality, behavior are disgusting, but I don't need slaves of any origin being the workforce here.
