No, because if one harms himself from using alcohol, that's because he doesn't know how to use it. In the past, i mean before the modern age, when we didn't know much and the science wasn't improved, people couldn't really calculate when the alcohol would hit 'em. But now we know everything, one can help himself by learning how to do it the right way without harming himself and the others.

Well. It's just like people smoking knowing the harm, the risk of either lung or throat cancer. But i think that doesn't mean that people should be banned from drinking. That'd be provocative, and it'd be a pressure on people. Just like in Iran and many theocratic-administered countries. So i'm saying, i'm sorry, really sorry for the people who cannot stop themselves from doing harm to themselves by drinking too much, but i don't think banning is the way.
