Yea we all do to a certain degree; my mom the least. My mom scores a little higher on 23andme though at 0.7% after phasing, whereas on McDonald it only appears to be around 0.2% for her. It appears that both my sister and I inherited most of our Euro from our dad.

Yea I'm pretty sure that it's Spanish. It's usually what shows up for us on 23andme (the Iberian that is), although my dad's got some bleed-over Italian and B&I which I know is common for Iberians or Latin Americans. So most likely Spanish considering the Philippines' history of Spain's colonial rule over us. So maybe from Spain or from the Spanish that went to Mexico/Latin-America in those times especially considering how my dad showed up as Sephardic/Jewish on McDonald and even on many gedmatch calculators. But if he's got quite an amount of Sephardic ancestry which is common in Mexico then why is there not a considerable amount of Native American for any of us on McDonald? Or maybe it really was from Mexico but our Spanish ancestor(s) just didn't have as much Amerindian admixture in him/her.

I only match 1 person from Spain on 23andme relative-finder. But I match like 8 Latin Americans on there; around 3-4 from Mexico, 2 from Peru, 1 from Cuba, and 1 from Puerto Rico.

My dad's McDonald analysis (he says Sephardic/Jewish/Spain):

I wonder if I really do have Sephardic/Jewish ancestry to a certain degree?

But as for the current state of the Philippines I do believe many Filipinos but not all do possess trace amounts of Iberian based on the 23andme results of Pinoys I've seen so far. But at the rate intermarriage is going these days we seem to be picking up more of those Northern Euro genes from US, Australia, Germany, British,....rather than Spanish lol. Even Middle-Easterners/Arabs are a more likely source of mixed race children in Manila than Spanish these days....Ah I love our diverse people.

Anyways I'm proud that I've got some Spanish in me. German or British blood would have been interesting as well though lol. :)
