Her ancestry is 1/2 Scandinavian and 1/4 German, the remaining ancestry coming from one of her grandfathers who I suspect was mostly of Irish and Scottish ancestry based on the surnames of that line, and came from the American south. I haven't been able to trace that line back to Europe as there are limited records. My mother's amerindian results seem quite high compared to mine and to most European populations, is it possible that she had an amerindian ancestor somewhere along the line, or is it just noise?
