23andme should do more in my opinion. I have 25% un-solved DNA that they have said 'Broadly' NW Euro. Come on 23andme you can do better than this ffs

Their new chip/update would be able to break it down imo, I had around 10% broadly south Euro but now nearly all of it was added to Balkan with the new update.

This would mean buying the whole test again!! Maybe I can just pay half for them to find out the 'broadly' part

Would you consider doing the test again to try and eliminate the 'broadly' part of your composition?

hell naaaw. I have the raw data, It's good enough. If I am going to do another one. Imma do another company. These things get better frequently, so the next one I do will probably be in around 5-10 years.

Wouldn't the raw data change slightly though?

I don't know 23andme can't seem to calculate accurately your NW Euro especially if you are sort of very Euro admixed like me. Like I'm not very mixed but my ancestry is all over the place and I have yet to find a test that says I am Slovak. According to MyHeritage I am approx 28% NW Euro or Scandinavian as they call it whereas livingdna with the new update has completely erased even the 20% German they had for me and 23andme has me down as like 14.3%. I don't know if Slovak even exists on these tests I haven't checked but it should as Serbian does and Polish and all those other groups. Anyway tbh I don't like 23andme much except for the traits part and even that I didn't need. Complete waste of money. Livingdna was an even worse waste of money. Myheritage and ftdna is somewhat worth the money.
