It seems that the Ashkenazim is real since I score it on both 23andme and on this test.

Remember that Ashkenazim have roots in the near east, so it might indicate actual Jewish ancestry, but on the other hand it might not. It's such a small percentage so it probably just confused some of your actual near eastern ancestry as Ashkenazi (same as I scored 3% Ashkenazi even though I don't have actual Ashkenazi ancestry). How much do you score on 23&me?

On 23andme I scored about 7.4% European, but it was mostly South European which was 4.7%. Italian 2.1%, Broadly Southern Europe 2.6%, <0.1Ashkenazi, Broadly European 2.6%

I am very close to Georgian Jews, much more so than Assyrians for example

The Ashkenazi is probably not real. These algorithm identify Near Eastern+Some Euro=Ashkenazi; which isn't always correct.

I think it's real because I score in all tests. I don't have any European ancestry. I am however very close to Gerogian Jews. I think it's because my mixture and components are pretty much similar to that of Georgian Jews. What is also interesting I am much closer to Georgian Jews than even to Assyrians, but I am half Kavkaz half Bedouin. The Bedouin admix pulls me south, but my Kavkaz admix pulls me in north. The closest group is the Georgian Jews to me more so than any other group, which is quite interesting.

Georgian Jews are West Asians, unlike Ashkenazi Jews which are more like European-MENA mix. I don't see how you can have Ashkenazi Ancestry if Ashkenazim are from Eastern-Central Europe and your ancestry is from west Asia.

True. I don't know maybe some of it crept into Caucasus ancestry, apparently they show it on my 23andme time line. My autosomal pretty much is similar to Georgian Jews as whole though, probably due to my mix. It's pretty small, but scoring on all test so far, I don't think it's noise but real, just like the SSA that I score also. Migration, conversion, assimilation so many possible things. On 23andme I am related to several Jews but they are all Near Eastern one, and I think one is an Ashkenazi though. I have no idea who that happened to be honest, but none the less quite interesting.

Maybe you have a Mizrahi Jewish ancestry and for some reason it identify part of it as Ashkenazi Jewish because all Jews have in common the Levantine-Samaritan like DNA. Don't count on 23&me timeline it's just a gimmick.
