But they clearly aren't, as I was saying it's possible that by virtue of them being a mixture of Greek/Thracian-like and Northern Europeans it would emulate the eastern med influence better than other Northern like people.

Though it is weird that when mixed with Extramadurans Slavs or Slavic-admixed people are still used, could be an error of the calculator, could we check with global25?

Just checked using eurogenes 36k and it seems that while the % of northern influence is similar when using Extremadurans specifically(but not when using other continental Spaniards) it seems to prefer Lower Saxony over North Slavic admixture.

About Baleares i'm aware of some medieval French immigration and Northern Italian aswell apart from Catalans (the main source population) Some of these French and Italian surnames survived till this days.
