I don't get this calculator at all. Hadn't all of the Steppe ancestry in Western Europeans made it's way by the Bronze Age? The amount of Central/West Asian estimated for Europeans is ludicrously high.

The guy that made this calculator believes later Iron Age nomads (broadly called Scythians) did made an impact on modern-day Europeans. Maybe he is right, in terms of genetics we still know very little about post Bronze Age Europe.

I get close distances (1.2) using exclusively Bronze Age and Earlier Western European references. Adding Hun/Sarmatian/Saka etc does nothing. I doubt even 5% of my ancestry at this time was outside of Europe, let alone 1/3.

I don't think you can, I keep looking for an option and can't find it. Thats a dirty move. People are gonna keep having to make new accounts for new files.

I hadn't thought about that I've only done testing through one service. Although as you are required to pay for the services of GenePlaza it doesn't make sense to have to pay for each file that you might want to test against their calculators.
