So much for oral history that says my father side is Egyptian lol. Empty claims.

I think he's a Samaritan but is pulled north possibly by Druze input. He has a couple of strong Druze matches.

I know ftdna doesn't test for mtDNA snps but I tried to upload my father's raw data to jameslick.com and it assigned H2a2a1. It said it's a good match and that it has more than enough snps to cover this haplogroup.

A lot of the Calcs on Gedmatch have weird population averages, atleast when it comes to West Asians. MDLP K16 averages have lower Caucasian than what people actually are scoring(most Assyrians are getting Armenians before Assyrian even those who are less Caucasus shifted in other calcs). Dodecad K12b and Harappa world in turn overestimate the Caucasus scores and underestimate Med and SW Asian. They are good calcs, but if I was you I would compare my results to other Levantine Christians and Samaritan Jews, not necessarily just to the averages.
