Do you consider North Africans/Maghrebi's "African" ?

I was just wondering what ppl thought, since many Maghrebis consider themselves Arab (Meanwhile genetically they have super little incommon with actual Arabs), and since they are native to the continent of Africa, i think they should be considered Africans, or Afroasiatics.

maghrebi berbers do not recognize themselve as ethnic arabs only the ethnic maghrebi arabs (who have the legitimate right tho be arabs) and the arabized (who should not be considererd arabs so they whould not be amalagamed with the ethnic maghrebi arabs)
