I’m not sure what the typical South Polish results on these tests would be so I’m unsure if he is typical or not. I would assume so, but I also know historically the southern area of Poland is one of the most visited by foreigners as tourists outside of the country.

That’s interesting. Pardon, I skimmed and misunderstood. Do you know if it is possible that he has Czech or Slovakian admixture somewhere along the way? Long ago German admixture is also a possibility. How far back have you been able to trace his paper trail?

I traced the paper trail only back to his 8 great-grandparents so far. I doubt he has any Czech or German.

Probably this is from Iron Age Celtic and Germanic tribes in Poland. And some of it can be recent Scottish:

his pre-Slavic (Celtic) admixture is similar to modern Iberians. such results are most common in Czechia, Austria and Hungary, and spread to neighbouring areas too. so it seems that the continental Celts were Iberian like.

Actually YFull has updated my list of matches from two to 17, and reduced the age estimate of the whole subclade from 3600 to 3400 years ago.

My two matches were the Spanish samples, but now all 17 are considered my matches, and this includes Eastern European and British guys too:

And 3400 years ago = ca. 1400 BCE, much too late for "Bell Beakers". This subclade rather has to be associated with some Celtic expansions.

That is Interesting, by 23andme I have ancestry exactly from the Silesian, and from the Zlin region. My ancestry could be partially from those people who settled there, I tought it is from the time of the Moravian kingdom, but 23andme won't go back that far. It's likely came from my grandmas side, they also have a history in the nobility cast, which was given to them due to military activity.
