I know earlier this decade there was some literature confirming what was suspected for a bit of time beforehand; that the Europeans with the heaviest European forager are those nearest to the central and eastern southern Baltic sea..primarily Poles (Podlaskie), Belarusians, Western Russians, Estonians, with Baltic-speakers as the apex.

I have not really heard any hub-bub about this after the fact. Does this still hold true? Is some of this admixture actually deeply rooted ANE/WHG-ANE transitional genes? The idea is that the Narva culture was a vector for a lot of direct WHG in these populations..
