3.61 Red Sea is typical for Bulgarians actually. Range is between 1-5. Nato could help about K15 PCA.

99% of the Bulgarian results i have seen so far had East Eurasian admixture between 0-3. ~1% Could be noise or just a proxy for Slavic migration but more than 2% would point out something interesting. It is actually expected for Hungarian, Romanian and Bulgarians.

Steppe Turks also had West Asian and South Asian admixture, so that should add to East Eurasian score. And probably Eastern Euro, it is very eastern shifted proxy on this. Peaks in Chuvash iirc

No wtf lol. Some of them just carry their proto-bulgar or other steppe-turkic heritage, they are Bulgarians. Balkan Turks have Turkmen root.

A lot of Serbs and Croats score 1-2% East Eurasian. A few Serbian samples I've seen were even 2-3%...just goes to show you there were also a few Avar settlers in the Western and Middle Balkans, even if their Y-DNA most likely died out.

He shift towards minorities in Russia. Call it however you want, they can be both Uralic and Turkic and similar genetically. I would say this dude has more Bulgar ancestry than average Bulgarian, he wouldn't shift towards their old homeland in Volga for nothing.

A lot of Serbs and Croats score 1-2% East Eurasian. A few Serbian samples I've seen were even 2-3%...just goes to show you there were also a few Avar settlers in the Western and Middle Balkans, even if their Y-DNA most likely died out.

wtf, that's more than what Turkish Cypriots get. I doubt that Serbs get 1+ Siberian.

I believe it's mostly on Eurogenes K13, on K15 it should give us less just like this Bulgarian scored less. Here is a chart of the k13 results of the Serbian DNA Project forum members:

In the Volga region they were destroyed and integrated into the Golden Horde. Later the language was replaced with Kypchak. Chuvash retainded their Oghur language though. Maybe because they weren't Muslims. But Volga Bulgaria was officially Muslim even before the Mongol destruction. It's all still a mystery to me...

For Mongoloid I'd personally recommend Dodecad. It eliminates the unnecessary Amerindian noise.
