To use gedmatch try Eurogenes K13 and K15, those two are the best in my opinion. Then click on Oracle to see your closest populations.
Dodecad k12b is also ok, and Eurogenes EuTest.

Also you might want to consider to remove your kit id from the screenshots.

Where in Ciociaria is your ancestry from? If you come from the former Terra di Lavoro, then you're basically southern Italian on that side so I'd actually put you at 75% southern in that case.

I've got ancestry from there (Sora) and from the few GEDMatch kits I've seen from the area they tend to shift towards Abruzzo and/or Campania.

Also, try the Morley Y-DNA predictor if you want to get a deep look at your subclade. It's not always accurate but it's worth a look imo.

i get USA, Australia, Brasil, UK, Germany. usual places of southern italian emigration, although many don't have an italian surname at all.

there is only one wierd one in Turkey, seems like he is a balkan turk ancestor origin states Bosnia Herzegovina, don't know what to think , the relationship would have been dating from the 1600's..maybe italians intermixing with people on the other side of the adriatic?

i get what you are saying, i look a lot like mom and she is very "frenchie" looking and somewhat pale. my sister though looks more like my father and i think she looks very Southern italian , she would either be guessed as that ,balkan or not excluded even some kind of "latina" actually to a US eye.

oh thanks for this one! i did it but with another calc i came out closer to abruzzo.

thing is is things went as such : somewhat exotic Southern family pulled a touch northwest due to my maternal grandma coming form northwestern Italy, hence the shift you described.

being a kind of "mix " the calculations always end up coming with numbers of accuracy that are less to what a single region italian would be.

Also, try the Morley Y-DNA predictor if you want to get a deep look at your subclade. It's not always accurate but it's worth a look imo.

hey Tacitus, asking for directives as always. i've went and gave a look but since it asks my SNP calls list i don't know what to do(nooob) . how do i get the thing i gotta put in that Y dna predictor? sorry for the bother.
