I have one doubt what method mdlp use, if they use Gauss method or least square method?

all 4-way gedmatch oracles use only the least squares method https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Least_squares

the Gaussian method is available in the "Admix4 (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9o3EYTdM8lQSVFBYmRWTU1GdEE/view)" program made by Alexandr Burnashev

while the 2-way "mixedmode" oracle is by the Greek Dienekes from the Dodecad ancestry project

What you think it’s more accurate

at least in Eurogenes K13, the Gaussian method looks better to me.

And to mdlp k23??

And to mdlp k23??

probably yes, because for example in mdlk k16 with least squares method some people are getting wild results. One Serb got French as top result, while with Gaussian method he got Serbian.

Yes it’s true to Lebanese give Cyprian, Syrian Jew ir saem Armenian in least square and in Gaussian give Lebanese. In k23 give for a half Lebanese/Italian in Gaussian correct admix population with 4,03 distance and in least square give half Armenian and half Portuguese with 4,32 distance, and far Lebanese/Italian with 5,25 distance.
