I am a Syrian Christian from the US and I've always wondered how much actually Ethnically Arab I am, so I am going to do a Gedmatch test soon, how to know how much Arab ancestry I have on Gedmatch? What does it should say? Thanks.

I guess the Red Sea/SW Asian component should be key.

Are you sure it's Red Sea? Because I've seen here many non-Arabs such as Iranians, Kurds, Greeks, Italians, etc.. who got amounts of Red Sea ancestry, I've seen even some Russians and other Central Europeans who Got Red Sea and it's kinda weird because I am pretty sure that all of those groups don't have Arab ancestry

Yes but it depends on the amount. 1-2% is one thing, 15% is another thing. Anyway, I don't think you will get significantly more "Arabic" admixture than most Christian Syrians. Are you not Syriac/Assyrian?

I'm guessing Europeans got their red sea indirectly from EEF/Anatolian farmers. Not necessarily because they have actual arab ancestry. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
