I know this is confusing to many, but Romanians traditionally used to call Romanians from Transylvania Ungureni.

All Vlachs settled in East Serbia in period 1718-39.

Ungurjani came from Banat Timişoara. Name refers that they originated from regions which was under the Hungarian rule.
Carani came from Oltenia. Name Carani came from Ţara Românească.
Munćani originated from hilly part of eastern Banat. Name is related with mountains.
Bufani originated from Oltenia.

Ungurjani and Munćani speak Banat dielect of Romanian language, and Carani and Bufani speak Olteanian dialect.
