This is a very good point.

I don´t have the list of components. Could you please put all the components that has every country?

If Spain has more components than France, it will be easy taht Spain has more matches even than France.

But it will be also interesting know also the exact number of samples by country and zone also, and the proprtion with the country total population.

Do you think that Portugal deserve to have more number of own components, more regions?

I don´t have g25

Anyway, no sample from Portugal has matched never in the top 10. First match form Portugal is 32 in South France.

Switzerland also has more references than Portugal, and also is smaller than Portugal.

Sí, que es injusto que Portugal tenga tan pocas regiones representadas.

The number of references for Catalonia is the most redundant there because it's a small area, it's quite homogeneous, and there's almost a reference for each main city/place.
And yes, there should be more individual references for Portugal, at least for the North (Minho/Tras-os-montes), Center (Ribatejo/Beira), South (Alentejo/Algarve), and the Islands (Azores /Madeira).

Anyway maybe is more representative conform the number of references of each country with population , no country surfaces.

Or simply I must have make the list, putting one reference of each country and only first 3 or 5 and distances.

It's not our fault. One or two references would be more than enough for Catalonia. They should make an average among all the samples from Catalonia region and condense into one reference, or make one for Catalonia and one for Andorra which has no reference whatsoever.

The problem is not of only of under-represented countries, is also in presenting data as Voskos did, this way of setting the data out leads to misunderstanding, as for example that Spaniards or Italians having more matches than own Frenchs in france doesn´t imply absolutely that France population average has more genetic closeness with Spain than with Italy, or Germans, or that Frenchs are Basically Spanish.

That´s was what I was trying to say with my first post here when I said:
Should we draw any conclusion?

But anyone opined but you, and you think with good judgment.

They will almost always be closer to themselves than to the bordering countries, except for SW French which is heavily basque influenced. Despite that, some France regions will have more genetic, phenotypical, linguistic and cultural affinity to different countries or areas.

For instance:

Aquitaine (except Basque) and Occitanie: Spain (specially Catalonia)
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes & Provence: Northern Italy
Alsace/Bourgogne: Bavaria
Corsica: Tuscany
Nord-Pas-de-Calais: Belgium
Bretagne: Britain
