He also does the same for early medieval samples.They are also pretty cool. I got first version of this -without labels and maybe the threshold was different, not sure though-.

The modern locations map seems good, but for the other, I feel like he throws the medieval samples in locations they aren't even from, and just bases their location off distance to modern populations. So in reality the medieval maps seem extremely biased based solely on his interpretation.

I have the medieval map as well. It’s definitely interesting but I agree a bit confusing. Some samples seem to be placed in the places they were found, while others are placed in countries they are genetically closest too. Maybe I’m reading it wrong, idk.

Very different from every other calculator I've ever tried. Southeast instead of Northeast.
