Europeans are mix of WHG, Steppe, and Neolithic Farmers. West Asians are mix of CHG, Iran Neolithic, and Natufian. They are made of completely different components so why is there a phenotype overlap between West Asians and South Europeans?

The genetic overlap is because west asians have neolithic farmer and europeans have CHG.

Natufian and EEF present in both.
WGG/EHG is present in most of West Asians.
Steppe includes CHG. Moreover, "European" part of Steppe is also present in some West Asians. In addition, some Steppe groups carry Iran N as well.
What makes the difference is amounts. These components are all common among Caucasian race, most of time. Worth to mention thanks to same environment the similar mutations can occur in specific regions despite having no genetic correlation. That's why we have more than one Alpine, Taurid type.
