Poland is Center Europe but genetically should be conisdered Northeast Europe.

I try it before using Swiss average (Without Swiss Italian, maybe adding it would be a balanced reference too)as Central European reference, but didn´t work very well so I choose that one.

Many countries considered Central Europe has nothing to do among them, Poland is Central Europe and so is Swiss or Hungary, so I don't know to what extent averages between references so different from each other would result in a representative reference of anyone.

Probably the best thing to do is to leave the model with 4 references without adding any Central European, because it destabilizes all the others.

Or do a new model with France as "West_Central_Europe, Italy as South_Central... etc, but that model will originate new problems with overlapping.

And people complaining that they are Italian and not Greek, or that they are English and that they get German or French.

Or that the actual geographical center of Europe is in Latvia.:)

The easy thing is to make the averages, the difficult thing is getting everyone to like them (the name, the references used to make the average, or the results they get).

Many criticisms are deserved, but we but have to try to adapt to reality even though we have to transgress certain formal conventions, because if it is not difficult to unite the puzzle if the pieces are as inconsistent as they are in these issues.

The first model was quite well, maybe I simply could have added a new reference for any "corner", and make a model with 2 references for every "corner" to try to lower distances.
