23andme says my yDNA is I-Z74. I'm a bit confused is this haplogroup I1 or I2 also where does this haplogroup originate? Sorry I'm new round here

It's under I1 and more specifically Norse (Scandinavian) L22 branch.

I know an other moldavian (from Neamt county) with y-dna I1. I don’t know, it’s quite strange.

Maybe rare, but I don't see why would it be strange. Goths lived on Moldavian territory in 3rd century AD.

Ayy, welcome to the I club. I1 in particular, which you seem to belong to, is found among 3% of our population.

In Moldova could be due to the Variags?

They admix with local slavs and the slavs admix with the vlachs in Moldova.

Instead the Goths, i don’t know which haplogroup they carried. Someone know it?

Could be, why not. Eastern Goths in Wielbark culture (Poland) were also found to be I1 as far as I know.

I thought it may have come from the Swedes invading Ukraine roughly 300 years ago but the goths make a lot more sense, especially as I have no known slavic ancestry.
