Laniakea Global
The first version of the Laniakea test is a 'Global' test, this will be followed by the release of other detailed regional versions, which will offer the most complete analysis available.

Has anyone else tried this?


Admixture

Your admixture results are derived directly from the SNPs present in your file. They reveal the percentages that you share with the principal components of the populations present in the calculator, based on the frequency of alleles.

My results are below.

European Brittonic Gaelic : 22.98%
The European Brittonic Gaelic component has its frequency peak in the peoples of Scotland and Ireland, but it is widespread and common throughout Northwestern Europe from Scandinavia to Brittany passing through the North Sea basin. To a lesser extent it is also common in other areas of Europe.

European Germanic
European Germanic : 14.01%
The European Germanic component has its peak in north-central Germany, southern Scandinavia and more generally the north sea basin, which also includes the Netherlands and eastern England. However, it is also widespread and common in much of central and northern Europe.

European Scandic

The European Central component has its frequency peak in Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and adjacent areas. However, being central in the European context, it manifests origins shared with practically the whole continent, being quite common from the Mediterranean to northern Europe.

European Atlantic
European Atlantic : 11.08%
The European Atlantic component has its peak among the Basque people but is widespread and common throughout Western Europe, especially the French Atlantic coast (from the Pyrénées to Vendée) and Spain (from the Pyrenees to Galicia).

European Eastern
European Eastern : 8.91%
The European Eastern component has its frequency peak in European Russia, but is widespread and common in much of Central-Eastern Europe and parts of Northern Europe and Central Asia.

Eurasian Alanic
Eurasian Alanic : 4.81%
The Eurasian Alanic component has its frequency peak in the Northern Caucasus, between the Caspian and the Black Sea. However, it is widespread and common in a large part of the Northern Middle East, in Europe (less in the Southwest), in Central and Southern Asia.

MENA Armenian

The Middle-East & North Africa (MENA) Armenian or Eastern Anatolia component has its frequency peak in Eastern Turkey and Southern Caucasus. However, it is widespread and common in a good part of the Middle East and the eastern Mediterranean as well as in a big part of south-eastern Europe.

Mediterranean West
Mediterranean West : 4.24%
The Mediterranean West component has its frequency peak in the western European Mediterranean, from the Tyrrhenian coasts of Italy to Iberia. However, the component is widespread and common throughout Western Europe, to a lesser extent also in Northwest Africa, Eastern Europe and Anatolia / Levant.

MENA Arabian
MENA Arabian : 2.89%
The Middle-East & North Africa (MENA) Arabian component has its peak in frequency among the Saudis, however it is widespread and common throughout the Arabian Peninsula and the territories bordering the Arabian Gulf. To a lesser extent it is also widespread in the northern Middle East, North Africa and Mediterranean Europe.

MENA Mesopotamian
MENA Mesopotamian : 1.25%
The Middle-East & North Africa (MENA) Mesopotamian component has its frequency peak in Iraq and the adjacent areas, however it is widespread and common throughout the Middle East, the Caucasus and the eastern Mediterranean basin.

Native American South
Native American South : 0.2%
The American South component has its frequency peak among the indigenous peoples of the Andes but is widespread and common throughout South America and more generally all the Americas.

Mediterranean East
Mediterranean East : 0.1%
The Mediterranean East component has its peak of frequency in the peoples who inhabit the easternmost part of the Mediterranean basin, from the coasts of the northern Levant to the Aegean islands. However, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa are also to a lesser extent.

I tried it as sort of support because i like that site.

I would say its decent, my known ancestry is mostly composed of South Slavic and Eastern Balkanic (Bulgaria is in later category)

Pinpoint seems not bad for me, it understands that i'm mostly central north african unlike many calculators.

they did update , I know that laniakea's proposal is just to look for similarity but i dont know what to say because they are breaking celtic dna into celtic briton
