The Kabars were Khazar rebels who joined the Magyar confederation possibly in the 9th century.
Around 830, a rebellion broke out in the Khazar khaganate. As a result, three Kabar tribes of the Khazars joined the Hungarians and moved through Levedia to what the Hungarians call the Etelköz, the territory between the Carpathians and the Dnieper River

N-A9407 (https://www.yfull.com/tree/N-A9407/), a lineage that came to the Steppe from the Baikal region with the Avars and rose to prominence thenceforth. Found in the Ottomans, Khazars and multiple Hungarian Conquerors.

N-A9407 is also found in Balkars, Uyghurs and the following:
Two Kazakh (Nogai Horde), 1 Anatolian Turk, 1 Lebanese, 1 Volga Tatar, 1 Russian Muslim of indeterminate ethnicity, and 1 Dalmatian Croat sample are included with the 2 Hungarian Conqueror samples.
