Because Eastern Europeans have very high EHG, compared to Western Europeans, and probably the "WHG" in that region was more EHG-like, the WHG samples I used are more "Western", because I didn't want a lot of overlap.

What do you mean by South Asians matching Iran_N in your tests.. Iran_N became a South Asianoid component now? lol. Iran_CHL is substantially Iran_N like, that's why in Mesolithic/Neolithic models there is no point to use Iran_CHL when you already have Iran_N in the model. And, of course, Iran_N is a native Neolithic Northern West Asian component. The reason why South Asians may "match" or score a lot of Iran_N is because they have ancestral admix from Neolithic Zagrosian sources

What do you mean by South Asians matching Iran_N in your tests.. Iran_N became a South Asianoid component now? lol. Iran_CHL is substantially Iran_N like, that's why in Mesolithic/Neolithic models there is no point to use Iran_CHL when you already have Iran_N in the model. And, of course, Iran_N is a native Neolithic Northern West Asian component. The reason why South Asians may "match" or score a lot of Iran_N is because they have ancestral admix from Neolithic Zagrosian sources

In your model, Estonians and Spaniards adhere to almost the same percentage of yamna culture. According to all studies, this is impossible. Estonians, Latvians are the most Indo-European in DNA. Ehg cannot be used next to a pit culture without some other components.

Dude, the only component from that model that is dravidian related and works as South Asian identifier is AASI, full stop. As I said, I modeled Punjabi_Sikh_India average with the model in OP, and the average scored 0% Iran_N and above 50% Iran_CHL, AKA that's where the Iran_N came from for that reference. As you can see, there will be legit and actual South Asian references that will only get modeled with Iran_CHL and without Iran_N so your method of detecting South Asian is inconsistent, and it is needless to say that Iran_N is a West Asian component, etc. But as I said, it does not matter from where Iran_N comes from and if you look at it, when you use Iran_CHL in the model it results in an overfit. Furthermore, your argument that Iran_N in this model can be used as a South Asian detector is analogous to using Levant_N in the model together with ANF. There will be idiots thinking that Iran_N can be used in the models for detecting South Asian etc so it is misinformation.
