I often use a slightly modified version of this image where I renamed Russian to Russian_North and removed Scottish after someone pointed out that it's erroneous (https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?138460-Post-unpopular-opinions-here&p=7946560&viewfull=1#post7946560).

I don't believe those models, they're false no matter what anyone says. The supposed difference in deep ancestry between Scottish and Orcadians (who are Scottish) is ridiculous, as well as the difference between Scottish and English, while Scots are almost identical to Norwegians and Icelanders? wtf

What's exactly the problem with this model? Admixture proportions?

Scottish breakdown. It looks wrong on that graph. The rest is somewhat believable (no one knows for certain), but one mistake makes the whole thing questionable.

It looks like this sample could have the highest level of Yamnaya in Europe, apart from the Caucasus

The Orel people are typically the people group I plot closest to in Russia. Maybe that's why I have higher yamnaya I don't know, it's a mystery to me

I think it's probably related to my top Icelandic and Swedish pieces I'm genetically closest to. They score high Yamnaya.

I discovered that my father is closer to five Viking samples then my mother is to her first sample he's closer to Iceland and England and Denmark and even Sigtuna and then one other I forget and then my mother's first one is just after his fifth one. I never would have imagined that's the case because my mother seems more like the Viking side of the family being Swedish but it's my father who comes out on top and apparently it looks like of all the Vikings I'm connecting to one the most through my father from Denmark which is where I get my Orcadian. The closest one is from Iceland however and now I know where I get several different unusual genetic pieces from like from the north of Finland even it matches to my Viking from Iceland quite well.

The odd part is, the Viking sample they give me from Denmark (VK275) is at a distance of .039 from me when I check it with Vahaduo official-updated Viking samples, and I have over 100 closer-distance samples on G25! But DNAGenics says this one is my closest. Weird, right? I don't understand it, but it's not too far from me on the NW PCA. Sometimes, among the variants of an ethnic group, the one that scores a match percentage is not necessarily the closest.

I hope I don't say nonsense: I imagine that on some specific occasions it is because the calculator understands that that closest subgroup is due to an indirect cause, that is, due to an ancestral constituent point of the two. So the groups that score are sufficiently distant from each other to be considered different while at the same time being close to the individual who scored that percentage.

It seems common when there is more than one different ethnicity. But since in your case they are all Nordic subgroups, I have no idea.

Chr 16 and 22 might also be fully Viking, from Parent 1 (Mom), but this one looks fully Viking, chromosome 7, which basically plots on top of the NOR101 G25 sample and scores Norwegian for me, but the Vikings on this calc don't show Norwegian but mostly Danish, with small amount Swedish, and some amount UK.

To your point, my RSID-Merged DNA file I uploaded to DNAGenics, when imputed, gives me VK215 as "closest" to me of the Vikings, yet G25 has it at a distance of .08 (or, 8%), which seems bizarre they'd label it my "closest" with that file.
