Our results show that no African component has remained in the population of the southern Iberian Peninsula, despite the fact that it has been occupied by Africans for 800 years,' says Saiz. The presence of typically African haplogroups in the populations of Granada, Malaga and Almeria is not significant when compared to the frequencies of these haplogroups in European populations, both Mediterranean and northern European.

The similarities between the population of Granada, Malaga and Almeria and the European population, or more specifically other Spanish populations, make any differences very difficult to identify.

I realised this a long time ago when I started to see the flags in FTDNA, Yfull e.t.c.

I say but if the rest of Europe far surpasses us in these haplogroups, how is it possible that they are giving us modern Spaniards this San Benito, something here doesn't add up and this study from the University of Granada ratifies it.

In Huelva, this was done very badly because the samples were taken at random in the Hospital de Huelva, where there were probably patients descended from black slaves from a particular neighbourhood of these villages, who at this time would have mixed with the local population.

This is what the study of the University of Granada says.

This study, published in the prestigious journal Scientific Reports (from the Nature group), analyses the genetic markers of the Y chromosome in males from the provinces of Granada, Malaga and Almeria.

Researchers from the University of Granada (UGR), belonging to the Laboratory of Genetic Identification, have discovered that the DNA of the Y chromosome of populations in the south of the Iberian Peninsula (Granada, Malaga and Almeria) has a very low component of North African DNA, similar to that found in other parts of Spain and other Mediterranean countries.

This is science my dear friend, recent studies, not old studies that chose random samples knowing that there would most likely be patients from some village or other with a neighbourhood of black slave descendants.

Ok, son of a deserter from Napoleon's troops, you are 100% nordic, your patrilineal and matrilineal lineage certainly came from Trøndheim

It's far more plausible to Gallop being 100% ice monkey (nordic) than you being Austrian; about 3/4 of your posts are something trollish related to Iberia, hence you cannot disguise.

Gallop is a moron. Like most morons they accept one study because they like what it says but ignore all the other studies that say the opposite.

For fuck's sake, he knows you can test your own DNA and compare it with different groups. You can do that yourself.

Needless to say Gallop didn't even look at the methodology behind the study.

'If I find an article I like, it's true. If I find half a dozen studies that conclude something I don't like then it must not be true.'

Napoleon's troops were international, besides the French there were Germans, Poles, Italians, maybe Swiss, etc. I am still gathering information through the historical press, when I discover new nationalities of Napoleon's invading army I will let you know as I see you are interested in the subject.

What is truly absurd is to be a South American with a hypothetical Galician ancestor and pass oneself off as Spanish. How can it be proved? It is easy to prove because he never publishes his genetic results because if he were to publish them, it would be clear who he really is.

P.S. Congratulations to the University of Granada and the team that has carried out this wonderful genetic study. :thumb001:

you try at any cost to deny your roots with Africa, when your Y came from Africa, no one here on this forum believes that you don't have Berber admixture, the only thing that is happening here is that you are embarrassing yourself

Are you the same troll who used to trigger Gallop under the name of "Ratoncito Perez" months ago? or the catalanfag?

Don't try to ignore me, Austrian wannabe.
