Both Southern Europeans and East Asians descend from Early Farmer populations while Northern Europeans have significantly more Hunter-Gatherer ancestry. So, Are Southern Europeans closer to East Asians than Northern Europeans do?

Both East Asians and Southern Europeans descend from Farmer-like populations.

All European populations descend from Anatolian/Iranian farmers, also the divide isn't north/south. Northern Europeans include people like Mari's and Udmurts with A LOT of East Eurasian admixture, and Northern Europeans on average have more ANE ancestry, which would be closer to East Eurasian. So no.

Early Farmer populations in Europe and East Asia were very distinct populations.
But I think your question is still very valid.
To answer your question: there is no big difference, Southern and Nothern Europeans are basically equidistant genetically from East Asians.
I calculated G25 genetic similarity distances between European populations and Han Chinese from Shandong province of China.
The genetic distance between Hans from Shandong and Finns was roughly 58, and for majority of European populations it was between 59 and 62 so no major differences.
Maybe Eastern Europeans (both Southern and Northern) were slightly closer to East Asians with distances 60+-1 than Western Europeans with distances 61+-1 but there was some overlap.

To sum up: in general Northern and Southern Europeans are equidistant from East Asians.

I don’t know how OP came with this weird question.

The answer Anatolian Farmers are West Eurasian. On the other hand Yellow River Neolithic Farmers are East Eurasian. East Asians and Europeans split off goes long before farming.

All West Eurasians close to each other than East Eurasians. North Europeans predominantly derived from West Eurasian groups such as ANF, WHG etc.
