Some 3,000 people, dressed only in their under garments, ran through the roads of Salt Lake City Saturday. The big event sponsors planned to highlight what they call Utah's "uptight" laws. Individuals, motivated to emblazon their figures with slogans for political causes, made the event a soapbox for a variety of issues. In recent years, undie runs have become more and more widespread.
