LOL, at Greeks and Italians getting above 1% SSA :P
Gedrosia calculators in general are optimized for individuals with predominantly S Asian or W Asian Ancestry So I would not be surprised if it overestimated my E_Eurasian component :

Besides, the average White American has some RECENT SSA in them as per 23andme's average due to the colonial nature of the country and slavery. At least the SSA if it exists, in Greeks and Italians, is ancient and not recent. You can't say the same for the average White American where admixture has only taken place in the last 500 years with Amerindians and Blacks.

All Europeans have Basal SSA in them. A few %. Nobody is free of it. This calculator measures ancient genomes I think but does it relatively poorly.
This calculator isn't meant for modern day individuals. The results are wrong and they overestimate the results of SSA for Southern Europeans. I saw someone who was only HALF Italian get 1% SSA. That doesn't make any sense given what we know about admixture in Southern Europeans.
Some Spaniards and Northern Italians get no SSA but Norweigans get 0.08? Bullshit. Norweigans OBVIOUSLY have less SSA than Spaniards, it just makes logical sense. Basques included. The calculator is fucked.
You're better off using Eurogenes.
Calculator is wrong. Full Spaniards definetley have SSA. More than Italians or Greeks. You know it's wrong when it shows a Spanish person as 100% W_Eurasian but a Norweigan person as having 0.08% SSA.Quote:
