Hi, thanks. But Kuban has no Crimean Tatars, they must belong to some other group, I would guess the Kuban Nogais. Mainland Russia has virtually no Crimean Tatars.
I'm afraid you just averaged samples from different subgroups.

Around 1/3 of Crimean Tatars in population-wise, who lives/lived in the Balkans and the Crimean Peninsula identify as Nogay as well. The borders between Crimean Tatars and Nogais are pretty much disappeared in the last 200 years. Many identify under "Nogay tribe" of Crimean Tatars. That's why I included Kuban Nogais to the average and called them Crimean Tatars.
However, when excluding them(14-15-16 in the table, one of them were mixed with actual Crimean Tatars already)
