Surname Taibi is a typical Sicilian surname. Linguistically could derive from Arab word Tayyb. But who kowns, could have other derivations.
In any case there is no automatic relation between the linguistic origin of a surname and the ethnic origin of the people who carry that surname.

The same surname exists in Lebanon. Anyway, he is clearly not typically Sicilian looking.
